Enjoy the hearty and flavorful Aloo Paratha. These stuffed flatbreads are filled with a spiced potato mixture, making them perfect for breakfast or any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • Salt
  • Ghee or vegetable oil for cooking
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Add water gradually to form a soft dough. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
  3. Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle.
  4. Place some potato mixture in the center of each circle, fold the edges over to enclose the filling, and roll out again into a flat paratha.
  5. Heat a non-stick pan and cook each paratha with ghee or oil until golden brown on both sides.
  6. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy!
