1 jar grape leaves, drained and rinsed
1cup rice
250g ground beef or lamb
1 onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4cup pine nuts (optional)
1/4cup fresh dill, chopped
1/4cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/4cup olive oil
1/2cup lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Instructions
In a skillet, cook onion and garlic until softened. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
Stir in rice, pine nuts, dill, parsley, salt, and pepper. Cook for 5 minutes.
Place a spoonful of filling on each grape leaf and roll tightly. Arrange in a pot.
Drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice. Add enough water to cover the dolmades.
Simmer for 45 minutes until rice is cooked and flavors meld. Enjoy!
