  • 250 g all-purpose flour
  • 125 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 cup pastry cream or jam of choice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a cake pan.
  2. For the dough, mix flour, butter, sugar, egg, and baking powder until smooth. Divide into two portions.
  3. Press one portion into the bottom of the pan. Spread pastry cream or jam on top. Cover with the remaining dough.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden. Cool before serving. Enjoy!
