Ingredients

  • 400 g cooked shrimp, peeled and chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped red onion
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 2 tbsp fish roe (caviar)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, red onion, dill, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Gently fold in the chopped shrimp and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. If using, gently fold in the fish roe.
  4. Serve the Skagenröra on toast, crispbread, or as a filling for sandwiches. Garnish with additional dill and lemon wedges if desired. Enjoy!
