 Souvlaki are succulent, grilled skewers of marinated meat, perfect for a casual meal or a festive gathering. The smoky, charred exterior and tender interior make each bite irresistible.

Ingredients

  • 500 g pork or chicken, cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper
  • Wooden skewers, soaked

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper. Add meat and marinate for at least 2 hours.
  2. Thread meat onto skewers. Grill over medium-high heat, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
  3. Serve with pita bread, tzatziki, and fresh vegetables. Enjoy!
