Tiropita is a delicious Greek cheese pie with layers of flaky phyllo dough and a rich, creamy cheese filling. It’s perfect as a savory snack or a comforting meal.

Ingredients

  • 400 g phyllo dough
  • 250 g feta cheese, crumbled
  • 200 g ricotta cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix feta cheese, ricotta cheese, eggs, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer phyllo dough in the baking dish, brushing each sheet with olive oil. Spread cheese mixture evenly over the top.
  4. Cover with additional phyllo sheets, brushing with olive oil between layers.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!
