Panzarotti are delicious Italian pastries filled with cheese, ham, and tomato sauce, then fried to crispy perfection. They’re perfect as a snack or appetizer and are sure to please any crowd.

Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 200 g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 100 g ham or salami, chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten (for sealing)

Instructions

  1. Roll out pizza dough and cut into circles.
  2. On each circle, place a spoonful of tomato sauce, mozzarella, ham, and ricotta.
  3. Fold dough over filling and seal edges with a fork. Brush with beaten egg.
  4. Fry in hot olive oil until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
  5. Serve warm. Enjoy!
