- 6 large egg yolks
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 500 g mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup strong brewed coffee, cooled
- 1/4 cup coffee liqueur (optional)
- 24 ladyfingers
- Cocoa powder, for dusting
Instructions
- Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale and creamy. Fold in mascarpone cheese until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into mascarpone mixture.
- Combine coffee and liqueur in a shallow dish. Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the coffee mixture and layer in the bottom of a dish.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat layers.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours. Dust with cocoa powder before serving. Enjoy!
