- 400 g spaghetti or pasta of choice
- 1 cup grated Pecorino Romano cheese
- 2 tbsp black pepper, freshly ground
- Salt
- 2 tbsp butter (optional)
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta cooking water before draining.
- In a large pan, toast black pepper over medium heat.
- Add drained pasta to the pan, along with a small amount of reserved pasta water. Stir to coat.
- Remove from heat and add Pecorino Romano cheese, tossing until melted and creamy. Add butter if desired for extra richness.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy!
