- Butter and sage leaves for serving
Instructions
- Boil potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash until smooth.
- Let mashed potatoes cool slightly, then mix with flour, egg, Parmesan, salt, and pepper to form a dough.
- Roll dough into long ropes and cut into bite-sized pieces. Press each piece with a fork to create ridges.
- Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water until they float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes.
- In a pan, melt butter and sauté sage leaves. Toss cooked gnocchi in sage butter before serving. Enjoy!
