- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt
- Ghee or vegetable oil for cooking
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Add water gradually to form a soft dough. Set aside.
- In another bowl, mix mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chilies, cumin seeds, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt.
- Divide the dough into small balls and roll each ball into a small circle.
- Place some potato mixture in the center of each circle, fold the edges over to enclose the filling, and roll out again into a flat paratha.
- Heat a non-stick pan and cook each paratha with ghee or oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy!
