- 200 g paneer, grated
- 2 potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp cashew paste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix grated paneer, mashed potatoes, cornflour, and salt to form a dough. Shape into small balls (koftas).
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the koftas until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pot, heat oil and add cumin seeds. Add chopped onions, garlic, and ginger paste, cooking until golden brown.
- Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, and garam masala. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
- Stir in cashew paste and heavy cream, cooking until the gravy thickens.
- Add the fried koftas to the gravy and simmer for a few minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy!
