		- 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 1 tbsp chickpea flour (besan)
 - 1/2 tsp baking powder
 - 1/2 cup yogurt
 - 1 cup sugar
 - 1 cup water
 - 1/4 tsp saffron threads
 - Ghee or oil for frying
 
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, chickpea flour, baking powder, and yogurt to form a smooth batter. Let it ferment for 4-5 hours.
 - In a pot, make sugar syrup by boiling sugar, water, and saffron threads until it reaches a sticky consistency.
 - Heat ghee or oil in a deep pan. Pour the batter into a piping bag and pipe spiral shapes into the hot oil.
 - Fry until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
 - Soak the fried jalebis in the sugar syrup for a few minutes.
 - Serve warm. Enjoy!
