- 1 cup khoya (milk solids)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- Ghee or oil for frying
- Rose water (optional)
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix khoya, flour, and baking soda to form a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small balls.
- In a deep pan, heat ghee or oil and fry the balls until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate pot, make sugar syrup by boiling sugar and water until it reaches a sticky consistency. Add cardamom powder and rose water.
- Soak the fried balls in the sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy!
