 Cool down with a refreshing glass of Lassi, a traditional Indian yogurt drink. Available in sweet or salty versions, it’s the perfect beverage to accompany your meal or enjoy on a hot day.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar (for sweet lassi) or 1/2 tsp salt (for salty lassi)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cardamom (optional for sweet lassi)
  • Ice cubes
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a blender, mix yogurt, water, sugar or salt, and ground cardamom (if making sweet lassi). Blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into glasses, add ice cubes, and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  3. Serve chilled. Enjoy!
