- 4 cups cooked rice
- 500 g thinly sliced beef or chicken
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 1/4 cup dashi broth
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 eggs (for Oyakodon)
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a pan, bring soy sauce, mirin, dashi broth, and sugar to a simmer. Add sliced onion and cook until tender.
- Add beef or chicken slices and cook until done.
- For Oyakodon, beat the eggs and pour over the chicken mixture. Cover and cook until the eggs are set.
- Divide cooked rice into bowls and top with the beef or chicken mixture. Garnish with green onions. Enjoy!
