Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp sake
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken pieces in soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and sake for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour and cornstarch in a bowl. Coat each piece of chicken in the flour mixture.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan to 350°F (175°C) and fry chicken until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Drain on paper towels and serve hot. Enjoy!
