- 400 g firm tofu
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- Vegetable oil for frying
- 1 cup dashi broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup mirin
- 2 tbsp sugar
- Green onions and bonito flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Cut tofu into cubes and coat lightly with flour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry tofu until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a saucepan, combine dashi broth, soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Serve tofu in bowls with warm sauce poured over and garnish with green onions and bonito flakes. Enjoy!
