- 1 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Make a well in the center and add eggs, milk, and water. Stir until smooth.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Using a spätzle maker or colander, press the dough into the boiling water.
- Cook until the spätzle float to the surface, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add spätzle and cook until lightly browned.
- Serve as a side dish or with your favorite sauce. Enjoy!
