- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp rum
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 220°C (425°F). Grease canelé molds.
- In a saucepan, heat milk, butter, and sugar until melted. Let cool.
- In a bowl, whisk flour with eggs until smooth. Gradually add milk mixture, vanilla, and rum.
- Pour batter into molds and bake for 45-60 minutes, until deeply caramelized. Let cool before removing from molds. Enjoy!
