Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup Wheat Flour Type 500
  • 1 cup Corn Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 cup Milk 2%
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 flat teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 10 Frankfurter sausages
  • 1 l Rapeseed Oil
  • Salt

Instructions

  • In a large, tall bowl, add both flours, sugar, baking powder, half a teaspoon of salt, egg and milk.
  • Mix with a mixer until you get a lump-free mass.
  • Heat the oil in such a dish that you can place the sausages along with the toothpicks on the bottom.
  • Stick sausages on the toothpicks (lengthwise), leaving about 5 cm of toothpicks (to serve as a place to hold).
  • Soak the sausages in the batter (it should be completely soaked) and place them in the hot oil. The oil must be very hot.
  • Fry the corndogs until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Put the fried corndogs on a plate with a paper towel, and then serve. Enjoy!
