- 5 egg yolks
- 1/2 cup sugar (plus extra for caramelizing)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 160°C (325°F). Place ramekins in a baking dish.
- Heat cream with vanilla bean in a saucepan until hot. Remove vanilla bean.
- Whisk egg yolks and sugar until pale. Gradually add hot cream, stirring constantly.
- Strain mixture and pour into ramekins. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set.
- Chill, then sprinkle sugar on top and caramelize with a torch. Enjoy!
