Ingredients

  • 500 g beef or lamb, cubed
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a pot and brown the meat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, white wine, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Add orzo pasta and cook until tender.
