- 1 lb fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup fried onions (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch green beans in boiling water for 3 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Add green beans to the mixture and stir to combine.
- Transfer to a baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
- Top with fried onions and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, until onions are crispy and casserole is bubbling.
