- 1 kg octopus, cleaned and cut into pieces
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pot and cook onion and garlic until softened.
- Add octopus and cook until it starts to brown.
- Pour in red wine and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer for 1 hour, until octopus is tender.
- Serve warm. Enjoy!
