- 500 g ground beef
- 250 g ground pork
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground allspice
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine breadcrumbs and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes until the breadcrumbs absorb the milk.

- In the same skillet, add flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth and bring to a simmer. Cook until the sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and return the meatballs to the skillet. Simmer for another 5 minutes until heated through.
