Delight in the crispy and flavorful taste of papadam, a thin, crunchy Indian flatbread often served as an appetizer or snack. Made from lentil or chickpea flour and seasoned with spices, papadams are quick to cook and can be enjoyed plain or with a variety of chutneys and dips. Ingredients

  • 100g Chickpea Flour
  • 40ml Sparkling Water
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Chili
  • Fresh Coriander

Instructions

  1. Pour the flour into a bowl. Add water and a pinch of salt.
  2. Mix all ingredients and knead by hand until a uniform mass is obtained.
  3. Sprinkle the dough lightly with flour and form a roll.
  4. Divide the rolling pin into 8 parts and roll each piece well into 2 cm pieces. Use a little flour for dusting.
  5. Heat the pan very well.
  6. Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown.
  7. Can be served as a snack between meals, an appetizer. Both alone and with sauce/dip. Enjoy!
