- 1 kg lamb, cubed
- 2 onions, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 cups water
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salt
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Marinate lamb in this mixture for 1 hour.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add onions, garlic, and ginger paste, cooking until softened.
- Add marinated lamb and cook until browned.
- Stir in tomato paste, garam masala, and water. Cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the lamb is tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving. Enjoy!
