Ingredients

  • 200 g jumbo pasta shells
  • 250 g ricotta cheese
  • 200 g fresh spinach
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to the package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a pan, sauté minced garlic and spinach until wilted. Remove from heat and chop finely.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, spinach, beaten egg, salt, and pepper.
  4. Fill each pasta shell with the ricotta mixture and place them in a baking dish.
  5. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells and sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25-30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
