- 1 kg beef stew meat, cut into cubes
- 2 cups pearl onions
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 400 g canned tomatoes
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp sugar
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat olive oil and brown the beef cubes.
- Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
- Stir in tomatoes, red wine, cinnamon, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 hours until beef is tender.
