Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef stew meat, cut into cubes
  • 2 cups pearl onions
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 g canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil and brown the beef cubes.
  2. Add onions and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, red wine, cinnamon, oregano, sugar, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 2 hours until beef is tender.
  4. Serve warm. Enjoy!
