- 6 apples, peeled, cored, and halved
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In an ovenproof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add sugar and cook until it turns golden brown.
- Arrange the apple halves in the skillet, cut side up. Cook for 10 minutes, until the apples start to soften.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with vanilla extract.
- Place the pie crust over the apples, tucking in the edges.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, until the crust is golden brown.
- Let cool for 10 minutes, then carefully invert onto a serving plate.
- Serve warm. Enjoy!
