- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into thin strips
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 1 tbsp turmeric powder
- 2 tbsp coconut milk
- Skewers
Peanut Sauce:
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1–2 Thai chilies, finely chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, fish sauce, curry powder, turmeric powder, and coconut milk. Marinate the chicken strips in the mixture for at least 1 hour.
- Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill the chicken skewers over medium-high heat until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- For the peanut sauce, combine all the ingredients in a saucepan and heat until smooth and well combined.
- Serve the chicken satay hot with peanut sauce. Enjoy!
