- 1 cup glutinous rice
- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Soak the glutinous rice in water for at least 4 hours or overnight. Drain well.
- Steam the rice for 20-25 minutes, until tender.
- In a saucepan, combine coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar is dissolved, but do not boil.
- Pour 3/4 of the coconut milk mixture over the steamed rice and mix well. Let it sit for 10-15 minutes to absorb the flavors.
- Serve the sticky rice with fresh mango slices and drizzle with the remaining coconut milk mixture. Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Enjoy!
