Ingredients

  • 4 filet mignon steaks
  • 4 slices foie gras
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp truffle oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper. Sear in a hot skillet with butter until cooked to desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
  2. In the same skillet, cook foie gras until golden on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add red wine and beef broth to the skillet, reducing until the sauce is thickened. Stir in truffle oil.
  4. Serve filet mignon topped with foie gras and drizzled with sauce. Enjoy!
