Delight in the refreshing and sweet-savory combination of watermelon and feta salad. The juicy watermelon pairs perfectly with the salty feta cheese, creating a light and flavorful dish that’s perfect for summer. Add a sprinkle of fresh mint or basil for an extra burst of flavor.

  • Total Time: 10 min
  • Yield: 4 portions 1x
  • Category: Medium

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 500g Watermelon
  • 100g Arugula
  • 100g Feta Cheese
  • 100ml Greek Yogurt 0% Fat
  • 40g Croutons
  • 30g Dried Tomatoes
  • 30g Shelled Sunflower Seeds
  • 5g Garlic
  • Pepper
  • Lime Juice
  • Fresh Mint

Instructions

  1. Mix the yogurt with the crushed garlic. Also add pepper.
  2. Cut the watermelon and cheese into cubes.
  3. Cut tomatoes into strips.
  4. Put the ingredients in the bowl and mix thoroughly with sauce and sunflower seeds.
  5. Sprinkle the dish with fresh mint leaves. Sprinkle on croutons just before eating..
  6. For a better visual effect, you can hollow out half of the watermelon (using a teaspoon – it’s best to cut the watermelon in the shape of a basket before cutting it without cutting the peel). The hollow flesh can be used for a salad, and the prepared salad can be served in a watermelon peel. Enjoy!
